Rajeev Ravi's Annayum Resoolum, which has received an impressive welcome from film lovers, is reportedly into a rather unlikely controversy.

The original duration of the film has been close to three hours. Though many felt that the film could have been more attractive with a lesser length, the director insisted on retaining the original length. But there have been reports that the length of the film has now been reduced by around 20 minutes in some of the theatres.
The film, starring Fahadh Faasil and Andrea Jeremiah, has portrayed a romantic tale in the backdrop of Kochi.

The use of the native accent and the realistic portrayal of the film have been well appreciated.
Cinematographer Rajeev Ravi, who has wielded the camera for several films by Anurag Kashyap, has made his debut as a director with the film.
