Now, this is an interesting situation. V K Prakash had made Trivandrum Lodge last year based on Anoop Menon's script. The film talked about certain controversial issues like infidelity and the dialogues were shockingly 'honest', about sex.
Though the makers got much flak for the dialogues, the film became a super hit.
But everyone involved in the film seems to be so eager to move away from the film now. V K Prakash's Natholi Oru Cheriya Meenalla had remarks about why films shouldn't have explicit dialogues. Anoop Menon and Jayasurya, who played the lead in Trivandrum Lodge, have been insisting that their next venture together, the recently released David & Goliath, is absolutely “clean”.
Anoop had landed in a similar situation sometime back, when Cocktail was accused of being copied from Butterfly on a wheel. He has since then been insisting that he has only written the dialogues in the film and not claimed the credit for its script.
Sometimes hit films can also bring trouble to those involved in it. What do you think?
