Anthony Hopkins hated wearing makeup, prosthetics and a heavy fat suit for his role as legendary director Alfred Hitchcock in Hitchcock, and couldn't wait to take it all off, it has been revealed.
"At the end of every day, Anthony would tear off his makeup and say, like, 'Good evening,' or 'Hello Clarice,' a reference to his movie 'The Silence of the Lambs,' New York Post quoted his co-star Michael Stuhlbarg as saying.
"He had been . . . burning up probably all day long. He had been there for hours before any of us," he said.
