AR Rahman on why Vijay refused to sing in 'Sarkar'!

AR Rahman called Vijay as ‘Thalapathy Vijay Avargale’ at the audio launch of Sarkar which shows the respect he has on the actor. 

The music composer also revealed that he wanted Vijay to sing a track in Sarkar. “We actually approached him but Vijay said that the pitch of the song is too high and he  agreed to come to my recording studio, which never happened”, said Rahman.

Rahman also thanked Thalapathy Vijay and team Sarkar for providing him the opportunity to launch the research website of 3000 year legacy of Tamil music at the audio launch.

Talking about the hatred spreading in the world, Rahman said “We should spread love and positivity. As a family leader, we face a lot of struggles telling our family that we can come out of a hard time similarly we should get positive energy and move forward”.

Rahman also sung the Oru Viral Puratchi song at the event and created awareness on the importance of voting.
