Avg user rating:
Director Mahesh Babu who had made that hit film Akash has borrowed heavily from Anuraga Aralithu a Dr Rajkumar film!

The film has a wafer-thin story but this clean family entertainer will keep you entertained till it lasts. Shivaraj Urs (Puneeth Rajkumar) a rich NRI a happy-go-lucky guy who does not know the value of money. He comes to India out of compulsion and it is love at first sight for him with Shruthi (Ramya), daughter of his office manager.

But Sruthi a practical girl asks him to earn five thousand rupees out of his own hard work. Arasu is taken under the wings of Aishwarya (Meera Jasmine) a friend of Shruthi. She gives him shelter and a job in her place of work. And slowly our hero comes to know the other side of life as he works hard to earn money and soon Aishu starts loving him. She also reveals her love to Shruthi. What happens in the climax?

As usual Puneeth excels in dance and fights. His dialogue delivery is cool and casual. It is Meera Jasmine who overshadows everyone in the film. When she is on screen it is a feast. Ramya also takes the cake for good acting. Komal provides some lighter moments while Srinivasamurthy is adequate.

Music by debutant Joshua Sridhar is average as lyrics take a back seat. Camera is adequate. On the whole Arasu is watchable for its lead performers.
