Are hospitals sponsoring films for publicity?

There were two films during recent times that dealt with pregnancy and related issues. Blessy's controversial Kalimannu came first and Aneesh Anwar's Zachariyayude Garbhinikal released today.

In Kalimannu, an item dancer decides to go for artificial insemination to give birth to a child, after her husband's unfortunate death. Zachariyayude Garbhinikal is about four pregnant women and the gynecologist treating them.

So, what is common in both the films? Both films are set in a particular hospital, reknowned for the treatment. With in-film branding where filmmakers add brands in return for hefty sums, there is reason enough to assume that this is an instance of in-film branding.

We would like to hear from the filmmakers on whether this was in-film branding or pure coincidence.
