Asin joins the bikini brigade

Three years back, when Asin used to be the numero uno of Tamil cinema, she had refused to wear glamourous costumes or show her mid-riff, even in songs.

She used to insist on attaching a piece of cloth to her blouse, in front, to hide her belly button! And now, the big news is that she is all set to wear a bikini in her forthcoming Bollywood film Housefull-2!

Producer Sajid Nadiadwala has confirmed the news to a Mumbai tabloid and is quoted as saying- "Yes it is. The film will be shot at places like Italy and Greece and such costumes are necessary for this script."

In another interview Sajid is quoted as saying: "Our script demanded her in a new look, which will surprise the audience completely".

Leading Mumbai designer Aki Narula, who designed Aishwarya Rai's bikini in Dhoom 2, will design for Asin too. She will, reportedly, be seen in sizzling swimwear and sexy sarongs.

It is clearly the Kochi girl's survival tactics in Bollywood, where she is finding the going real tough.

After that super hit Ghajini, Asin had a colossal flop London Dreams with Salman Khan. Her competitors who debuted along with her in the same year, Deepika Padukone and Anushka Sharma are now miles ahead of her.

As of now Asin has Ready, a remake of Uthamaputhiran opposite Salman Khan coming up for release on May 27.

Her only other project is Houseful -2, where she will share the glamour portion with two other heroines.
