Asin on small screen !

Asin one of the most successful south Indian actress who made an impact in Bollywood,is now hosting a television show.

Asin will play the agony aunt in UTV Star’s Superstar Santa, a show on friendship.

Asin was hugely popular and has dished out hit after hit in Tamil, before graduating to Bollywood with Ghajani, a blockbuster.

Though her London Dreams bombed, her Ready with Salman Khan, the number one star in Bollywood was a hit.

The actress now has Housefull 2, a multi-starrer with Akshay Kumar and John Abraham coming up for release, followed by Bol Bachchan with Abhishek Bachchan.

From playing a glam girl on big screen to the agony aunt in small screen is definitely a come down for the actress.

Asin lost the race in Bollywood with the rise and rise of Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and finally Vidya Balan. She is no longer considered hot nor is a part of any big star A-projects. So it is perfect time “to experience the excitement surrounding the small screen.”
