Talking to the media during a promotional event, the actor spoke about the success the film has received and said, "I had expected the film to do well but it surpassed all our expectations. I am both thrilled and overwhelmed.
The actor also revealed that she visited a lot of theatres herself to gauge audience reaction. "If the situation is comic or the film is a comedy, one can actually hear the audience reactions," Sanon said, adding, "I went to both multiplexes and single screens and I was happy to see people laughing there were places people were clapping and whistling. The feeling was actually priceless.
The actor who revealed that the film tried to bring forward the youth's point of view and a social message, albeit in a humorous manner added, "The audience is actually getting the message of live and let live.
Earlier, during an Instagram live session, the actress was asked about her latest trip to the theatres where she turned into a ticket seller surprising the audience at a suburban theater in Mumbai.
"Good balance of critics and reviews along with the praises that are coming in along with good Box office numbers it is like Sone pe Suhaga," she said.
Beginning the year with Luka Chuppi, Kriti Sanon is all set to offer a number of characters this year with her films hailing from different genres.
While Luka Chuppi is already gaining appreciation, Kriti Sanon will now be moving forward with Arjun Patiala, Housefull 4, and Panipat.
"The year has started on a sweet note for me. However, the other three films are very different for me as characters and also as stories. I am looking forward to the audience reactions to those," she said, adding, "I want to know which character they like the most. Be it Housefull 4. Panipat or Arjun Patiala.
