AVM's comeback film launched

AVM, the prestigious production house in South India, makes comeback to Tollywood after a brief gap. Its new film starring Varun Sandesh (of Happy Days) and Vimala Raman as the lead pair was launched on May 2 at Ramanaidu Studios.

The muhurat scene was shot on the lead pair and the film introduces Marthand Shankar, brother to well-known editor Marthand K Venkatesh, as the director.

Says M Saravanan: "It is like comeback for us. AVM has produced nearly 30 films in Telugu and this is 172nd production for the banner. It is a family entertainer."

Director Shankar said the film would appeal to all section of audiences. Hero Varun Sandhesh said, “It is an awesome feeling to work under the prestigious banner." Actress Vimala Raman informed that she has done 10 films. "But this is my first film in Telugu," Vimala said.
