'Bangalore Days' all rights snapped by PVP & Dil Raju

Anjali Menon's trendsetting Malayalam blockbuster Bangalore Days was one of the hottest films in the remake market. In a surprising move PVP Cinema and Dil Raju have jointly acquired the remake rights of Bangalore Days for all Indian languages.

Bangalore Days had the young guns of the Malayalam film industry Dulquer Salmaan, Fahaad Fazil, Nivin Pauly, Nazriya, Parvathy and Nithya Menen in the lead with music by Gopi Sundar. But what worked for the Anjali Menon directed film was it dwelled on the emotions of today‚Äôs youth like friendship, relationship and commitment. 

Bangalore Days has managed to tug the heart strings of viewers across the nation (the sub-titled version was released in a significantly higher number of screens outside Kerala than within Kerala). 

PVP Cinema and Dil Raju, the man with midas touch are the ideal producers. The Tamil and Telugu remake will be directed Bomarillu Baskar who directed the original version of Santosh Subramaniam. The grapevine is abuzz that Samantha, Nani and Naaga Chaithyanya will play the lead roles.
