Three cousins - A nerd (Nivin Pauly as Kuttan), the adventurous type (Nazriya as Divya) and the black sheep of the family (Dulquer Salman as Arjun aka Aju) - come together for a good time in Bangalore. A 'rocking city' as the black sheep puts it.
The three are on a mission to break free from their life in Kerala.
The nerd quite predictably joins the booming IT brigade but that's not to say he fits right in. Divya has a better time having made it as an RJ on a popular radio station. That's until she finds love with someone who keeps reminding her that she isn't in Kochi anymore.
And there's Aju who grasps all that Bangalore has to offer. Motorcross championship? Tick. Meeting Bangalore's hot women? Tick.
This Anjali Menon film that seems fun and engaging has a lovely backdrop. Bangalore that is actually in need of much beautification, lives up to its past glory, thanks to Sameer Tahir's cinematography.
It also stars a whole list of other big names including Fahadh Fasil, Isha Talwar, Nithya Menen and Parvathy.
The story seems as Cosmopolitan as the city. A tale of outsiders who make Bangalore their own with their set of trials and tribulations at work and in love.
Releasing May 23, this is a film that we're guessing will reach out to many similar denizens, language no bar.
