Veena Mallik was overwhelmed by the love that the people in Bengaluru showered on her so much that she calls the city her second home.
Veena Mallik has been shooting in several outdoor spots in Bengaluru.
On Wednesday, she shot one small sequence of Dirty Picture, being directed by Thrishooli and produced by Venkatappa, near Bengaluru Bus Stand in the busy Majestick area. Thousands of people eagerly watched the shooting and greeted her.
The crowd went berserk when the police tried to control them. Police had to resort to a mild lathi charge to disperse the crowd. Meanwhile, there was traffic jam in the busy Majestick area for nearly two hours due to the shooting.
"I have been shooting for my first Kannada film Dirty Picture for many days here and I see thousands of people gathering here to greet me and the film unit. It is really heartening to see such huge crowd gathering to encourage us. It has always been an electrifying atmosphere in the shooting spots in the city. I have always felt I am shooting near my home", says Veena Mallik.
The VISA has been issued to the actress only to be in Bengaluru city and not to move out of the city limits.
