Lucky (Nani) is well-established in life with a good job and has supportive parents and friends. But he has memory related issues. He meets a beautiful dancer Nandana (Lavanya) and falls in love with her. Their friendship grows and both like each other but Lucky doesn't tell her that he easily gets diverted and forgets everything in the middle of what he is doing.

She likes his helpful nature and his kind-hearted ways. She tells about Lucky to her father (Murali) who also happens to be an agricultural scientist and is aware of Lucky's memory deficiency; Lucky introduces his friend (Vennela Kishore) as Nandana's lover to evade the problem at that moment.

But how long will he hide his real identity with her father and his secret from his lover?

Bhale Bhale Magadivoy is the latest romcom directed by Maruti who earlier was criticized by all for heavy usage of double meaning dialogues in his movies. He has taken up the challenge that he can make entertainers sans such dialogues with a healthy dose of comedy. He has largely succeeded with this effort.

Bhale Bhale Magadivoy doesn't boast unique storyline but what the director has done is presenting the movie in refreshing way coupled with superbly written characterization for the hero. Maruti who is also the writer of the movie has written Nani's character with so much elan. Unlike Ghajini, this hero doesn't have any ailment but is born with an attention diversion syndrome and moreover he is presented as someone who is enjoying this despite some irritants. There lies the difference.

While Maruti has written the character beautifully, it is Nani who has elevated it with his faultless performance. With good laughs, neat dialogues and peppy songs, the director has packaged the romcom very well.

While the first half goes on in a breezy manner, the second half falters for a while and then picks up momentum later to end on a happy note. Yet, one can say the deficiency in the movie is a tighter second half and also the routine action based climax.

Like already said, Nani's performance is the main highlight. He shoulders the entire movie. It is his best lighthearted performance in his career. Next comes Lavanya Tripathi who is endearing, shares equally good chemistry with the hero. The movie presents us a good character artiste in the form of Murali who until now was seen in either cop roles or largely negative characters. Vennela Kishore adds some laughs. Rest of the cast members have done justice to their roles.

The movie has a sound technical department with decent cinematography by Nisar Shafi, some good tracks by Gopi Sunder and rich production values. The movie needs some trimming though.

In fact, there is not much story beyond the interval, but Maruti brought in family characters and extended the drama and evoked laughs with situational comedy. As writer and director, Maruti has gone one step forward with his clean entertaining lines.

Bhale Bhale Magadivoy /i>is neatly packaged romcom about a mini Ghajini's travails. Cool entertainer.
