The audio launch of Perarasu’s next film Thiruthani was a glittering affair at the Kamala theatres on Sunday morning. The movie stars Bharat and Sunaina with the talented director himself giving music for the film.

The function saw the presence of several big wigs from the industry, including SJ Suryah, AR Murgadoss, K Bhagyaraj, Pandirajan, SAC, Jeyam Raja, Srikanth Deva, PL Thenappan and Dhananjayan amongst others and was released in their presence.

The film has being lying the cans for a long time but will now see the light of day. SJ Suryah said, “Perarasu has had a gap in his films but when lord Rama himself had a 14 year hiatus, then such a small gap is ok for a director.”

AR Murgadoss recalled the time he worked with Perarasu when he was a writer’s assistant in a Pandirajan film. Bharath said, ‘This film ran into many problems in the making but I am happy its coming out now.’ SAC revealed that many people have helped to release this film with Bharath himself having been an active contributor.

The film has 2 songs shot in France with 3 folk songs, one melody and one song set in a Carnatic style, all composed by Perarasu himself. The director said that Raj Kiran has acted spectacularly in the film and his character is slated to change the course of the story in the film.
