Puthiya Tamizhagam leader Krishnasamy has a history of troubling Kamal Haasan in the past. Krishnaswamy is one of the major reasons behind the title change of Sandiyar, a rural drama of Kamal Haasan, which was later renamed as Virumaandi

Now Krishnasamy has filed RS 100cr defamation case against Kamal Haasan for a derogatory comment made by Gayathri Raghuram, one of the contestants in the actor’s reality show ‘Bigg Boss’.

According to Krishnasamy, he has given enough time to Kamal Haasan to apologize but the particular comment hurt the sentiments of poor people and it needs to be addressed. Apparently, Gaythari used the term ‘Cheri-behaviour’ (slum behavior) in the show, which is said to have hurt the sentiments of suppressed people living in slums.

In a media interaction, Krishnasamy has said that the Bigg Boss isn’t a live show, the TV channel could’ve easily edited out or muted the particular term used by the contestant but they didn’t care.
