Storyline:
All human beings are capable of distinguishing the real from the unreal (imaginary). But there are a few who refuse to recognise this distinction.
Anu ( Bipasha Basu ), a fine arts student, from a happy and affluent family experiences a tragedy. On September 11, 2001 terrorists attack the World Trade Center in New York, and Anu's elder sister and her brother-in-law are killed. Anu is distressed and becomes mentally ill.
To help her overcome the problem, her parents get her engaged to Arpit Oberoi (Priyanshu Chatterjee ) a well known Ad filmmaker, who is later commissioned for an international ad film project and leaves for the U.S. Meanwhile, Anu meets Aman (John Abraham ) who is member of an anti-terrorist organization. Enamoured by Aman's purpose in life, Anu falls in love with him.
When it is time for marriage with Arpit, she refuses to marry him and cuts her wrists in protest. Anu survives and it is revealed that she suffers from Schizophrenia.
The film is about how Anu overcomes this dreaded disease and how she deals with the two men in her life.
