Box-office top 5

1 Spider-Man 2

Cast : Toby Maquire, Kirsten Dunst
Director :
Trade Facts : Had a great opening weekend but due to record number of Tamil prints the film fell steeply. All distributors who purchased it at record price will stand to lose money.

At times too sentimental and is not being appreciated by low class audience who form the bulk of dubbed viewers.

4 Mujse Shaadi Karogi

Cast : Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Akshay Kumar
Director :
Trade Facts : The film has taken a great opening in two screens in Chennai where ticket rates hovered around Rs 90! But by Monday the collections had dropped.

A rehash of Meet The Parents, Anger Management and Dhawan’s earlier Deewana Mastana.

5 Sullan

Cast : Dhanush, Sindhu Tolani
Director :
Trade Facts : The second weekend collections are very disappointing. At the box-office the distributors and theatres which had paid huge MG’s, will lose heavily.

The wonder boy just could not be convincing as an action hero, which is the biggest drawback of the film.
