Top 5 @ Kerala box-office (Mar 14 to Mar 16)
Moviebuzz  | Wednesday, 19 March , 2008, 11:12

As per the request of Malayalam stars and leading producers and distributors, sify.com will not feature other language movies released in Kerala on Top 5 @ Kerala box-office! We are with the industry to encourage and promote Malayalam films.

It was the worst week of the year at the Kerala box-office, as examinations started and the audiences lost interest in movies. The two new minor releases Juiblee and Salabam do not even feature in the box-office as it had limited release with some theatres reporting 25 to 40 audiences for first day matinee show!

Cycle continues its ride at the number one slot, followed by Rowdram at number two, in the third position is Katha Parayumbol which has now become a landmark film. It has grossed an incredible Rs 50, 40,520 in 84 days from Remya theatre in Thiruvananthapuram. College Kumaran is doing better in B & C centers and is in the fourth position. In the last position is Calcutta News , which is total washout in B & C theatres but holds on due to lack of new releases.
