The Kerala box office is at an all-time low because of heavy rains and lacklustre films. The number one film this fortnight is Vineeth Sreenivasanís Malarvadi Arts Club. The film which stars newcomers is the best of the lot and can be classified a hit.
In Ernakulam Padma, where it is doing the best, it has collected a share of Rs 10.5 lakhs in two weeks, while in Thiruvananthapuram New Theatre it has taken a share of Rs 7.5 lakhs.
At number two is Mohanlalís Oru Naal Varum, which has fallen badly. The two weeks share from Thiruvananthapuram Sreekumar is a comparatively low Rs 7 lakhs.
In third place is Urvashiís Sakudumbum Shyamala, which is nowhere near the actressí earlier hit Mummy and Me.
Rock steady at number four is Pokkiri Raja, which has now grossed an amazing Rs 77 lakhs from Thiruvananthapuram. In fifth place is Mummy and Me.
