Box office reports
Note: Ratings are based on the box office collections and the cost of the film
Cast: Sonam Kapoor, Abhay Deol, Ira Dubey, Amrita Puri, Cyrus Sahukar, Arunoday Singh
Director : Rajshree Ojha
Neat performances, especially by Sonam Kapoor and Amit Trivedi's super musical score
Screenplay could've been tighter. Also, slow pacing
BO verdict : Showed day-wise improvement as it collected Rs. 3.65 cr. on Friday, Rs. 4.48 cr. on Saturday and Rs. 5.29 cr. on Sunday. The 3-day total stands at approx. Rs. 13.43 cr. nett [Rs. 13,43,64,084, official figures issued by PVR]. The business was excellent at high-end multiplexes of Delhi-NCR, Mumbai and South, but was weak at small centres/single screens/Hindi belt. The low costs [Rs. 14 cr., excl. P. & A.] is a major advantage. The makers have already recovered Rs. 9 cr. from Satellite Rights and Rs. 1.5 cr. from Music Rights
