Box office reports
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows has opened big in Chennai, like the rest of the world. In Chennai city, the film has grossed an awesome Rs 40.5 lakhs from 16 screens, and is the clear number one.

Though HP-7 carries mixed reports in Tamil Nadu, it has taken a very impressive opening.

At number two is Sundar C's Nagaram, which carries good reports and is being appreciated for its comedy scenes.

In third place is the Prabhu Solomon-directed Mynaa, which is holding on well in multiplexes.

Hrithik Roshan's Guzaarish, which carries mixed reports, took a decent opening as it netted Rs 23 lakhs from seven screens. It is at number four.

Rajinikanth's Enthiran is holding on to the last spot and is at number five.
