Bengaluru Box office (January 21 to 23)

Monday, 24 January, 2011, 04:41

The one day Karnataka Bandh on Saturday was a shocker to the new films that were released this week and the other films which had consolidated well. It looks like Kanteerava would be unable to recover from the second day's shock because it has not been liked much by the audience. Even the first day's collections were not great. Olave Mandara shows some promise thanks to the rave reviews. The collections have shown a lot of improvement on Sunday. The collections of Boss has also dropped considerably. Dhobi Ghat had a good run in the multiplexes while the Telugu films have not made any impact. Adukalam and Kavalan are getting reasonably good collections in single screens. Jackie completed a 100 day run in more than ten centres.
