Bengaluru Box office

Though two Kannada films were released, the collections of both these films including Veerabahu starring Vijay and Nidhi Subbaiah have not been up to the mark. The world cup cricket matches have already started and the India-Bangladesh match on Saturday has deeply affected the collections of all the films running in the state. Shivaraj Kumar starrer Mylari completed fifty days of its run in many theatres in the state. 5 Idiots has opened so badly that some theatres want to remove the film after three days. The Vishaal Bharadwaj and Priyanka Chopra combination has not been able to attract crowds despite the good pre publicity. Ram Gopal Varma directed Appalaraju has opened to mixed response.
