Bengaluru Box office ( March 11th 13)

Monday, 14 March, 2011, 07:20

Actor Sudeep directed Kempe Gowda has opened very well as expected. The collections have been showing improvement despite the cricket fever reaching its peak and the pre-examination period playing the spoil sport. The film received the best opening on day one which was repeated on Sunday also. Infact, Sunday recorded better collections than the first day. This has certainly brought new hope to the Kannada film industry. Rama Rama Raghurama the sole release last week failed to get a good opening. Kempe Gowda's success will be a boost for Sudeep whose last film Kichcha Huchcha was a miserable flop. Upendra's directorial venture Super completed 100 days in five centres in nine theatres on the same day when its Telugu dubbed version was released in A.P. Jayatheertha directed Olave Mandara has completed fifty days.
