| Last week, it was Dhanush starrer Maapillai. This week it has been
Pawan Kalyan and Trisha starrer Teen Maar which has taken the lead
in the Box Office collections.
This seek saw the release of three Kannada films which have just
started with a whimper. Surprisingly, Dandam Dashagunam starring
Chiranjeevi Sarja and Ramya which made for a lot of pre-release news
because of the controversy involving producer A.Ganesh and Ramya has
received lukewarm response. The two other Kannada films - Neneyuve
Ninna and Ellelloo Neene Nannalloo Neene which had introduced new
stars was not expected to take off to big openings.
Sudeep directed Kempe Gowda and Nagashekhar directed Sanju Weds Geetha are the only two films which are running well among Kannada films,
while Maappillai is still drawing good crowds.
