Bengaluru Box office (April 22 to 24)

Box office reports
Murali Meets Meera seems to have been liked by the audience. The film has not opened very big, but it has been able to obtain a good opinion from critics and viewers. The first two days` collections were affected because of rains, but on Sunday the collections have shown lot of improvement. The good opinion may help in sustaining the good collections - the film made with a reasonable budget may recover its cost.

In contrast, the collections of the Jaggesh starrer, Double Decker with two Bollywood heroines and a big budget have been poor. Surprisingly, the film has not been able to take off well and the rains in the first two days posed another big problem.

Kempe Gowda and Sanju Weds Geetha seem to be continuing their premier position even many days after the release.

Despite a big publicity hype, the Hindi film Dum Maro Dum has not taken off well. It looks the audience prefer to see Deepika live in the Cricket matches kissing her boy friend Sidhartha, than to see her doing an erotic dance in Dum Maro Dum.

Mr. Perfect has opened slightly better, but the rains in the first two days of its release did pose problems. But, the film may be a break even product for the distributors as the film is expected to attract family crowds.

Ko has opened poorly, but Sunday collections have shown a very good improvement.
