Hollywood continues to dominate the Chennai Box Office this summer. The latest English flick to open in the number one position is X-Men: First Class. The film along with its Tamil version opened in nearly 20 screens in Chennai suburbs and netted a very good Rs 27 lakh. In the second place is the slow and steady Kung Fu Panda-2, which is drawing record family audiences in its third week. During the weekend the animation film registered 80 per cent in nine screens, which is awesome. Ko has dropped with the opening of the schools, and shows at multiplexes has been reduced and moved to smaller screens and is in the third position. At number four is Salman Khan’s Ready which after a great opening has dropped in the second week. And in the fifth place is Aaranya Kandam which had a lukewarm opening despite rave reviews by critics.
