Friday, 08 July , 2011, 15:15

Box office reports
The monsoons have washed away the box-office. Collections all over Kerala have taken a nosedive in the month of June.

Only Rathinirvedam, thanks to the brand and its steamy posters, has managed a fantastic opening.

The number one at the Kerala box-office during the monsoon is the hot Rathinirvedam. The film got a distributorís share of Rs 1.10 Cr from releasing stations in its first week. It grossed Rs 10, 40, 895 in its first week from Dhanya and Remya in Thiruvananthapuram.

From Kozhikode Radha, the film grossed a whopping Rs 13, 24, 606 in 10 days!

In the number two position is Seniors which has grossed Rs 60 lakh from Kozhikode in seven weeks. Allu Arjunís Badirinath took an earth-shattering opening all over Kerala, getting a share of nearly Rs 90 lakh in its first week and is in the third position.

At the number four position is Salman Khanís Ready which has done very good business especially in Malabar area of the state. Just to make the numbers is Salim Kumarís Adaminte Magan Abu at number five which opened in 60 theatres and barely managed to get 30 to 40 per cent in its first week.
