Chennai Box-Office- July 15 to 17

Vikram’s Vijay directed Deivathirumagal has taken a good opening based on positive word of mouth and terrific promotions by UTV. It has grossed nearly Rs 80 lakhs in three days from Chennai city screens and is in the number one position. The multiplexes reported 100 % in the first three days.Mayajaal on ECR has reported Rs 15.39 lakh for the weekend from daily 34 shows. At number two is Warner Brothers Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2. The film in 3D at multiplexes is very good.In the third place is Venghai, which is holding on well. Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara is in the fourth position while Avan Ivan hangs on in the fifth position.
