In July, the Kerala Box Office showed a preference for Ashiq Abu’s Salt & Pepper. The film made on a shoe string budget of Rs 1.40 Crore is a super hit and has already taken a theatrical share of RS 1.62 Crore from 40 releasing stations and is at the number one position.
In the number two position is V K Prakash’s 3 Kings, which has got a distributors' share worth Rs 1.03 in its opening week. At number three
is the Telugu dubbed into Malayalam 100% Love, which will make handsome profit for its distributors.
From Ernakulam Shenoys' alone, the film will collect a share of Rs 5 lakh. In the fourth place is Rathinirvedam, last month’s super hit, which is
doing extraordinary business now in B & C markets.
At number five is the little known Suresh Gopi action film Collector, which is average.
