Raghava Lawrence's Kanchana, in its second week, has emerged as the new number one at the CBO. The film which opened in 13 screens has now increased to 17 screens. Multiplexes have increased number of shows and also shifted it to bigger screens.Kanchana, according to trade experts, is the clear number one which has increased collections from 85% to 92 % in its second week, which is phenomenal. At number two is Deivathirumagal, which in its third week is holding on well and is a winner.In the third place is Anjana's Photon Kaathas-produced Veppam, which carries mixed reports. At number four is Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows which is going full during weekends in multiplexes. Cowboys & Aliens have failed to take a good opening but is far better than other Tamil releases of the week.
