Box office reports
After the disastrous Onam releases, Kerala box-office is picking up. Mohanlal`s Snehaveedu which released in 69 odd stations on September 30 has taken a decent opening. Prithviraj`s Indian Rupee which released on October 6 is also being appreciated.

Snehaveedu is a typical feel good Sathyan Anthikad family entertainer with outstanding performance by Mohanlal. The film has opened at number one position on KBO and has grossed a whopping Rs 15,67,473 from Thiruvananthapuram New and Sri Visakh and is definitely a hit.

In the number two position is Prithviraj`s Ranjith directed Indian Rupee, a film which is being liked by critics and masses alike. The film has taken a good three day opening from 70 odd screens and is in the number two position.

At number three is Kunchacko Bobban`s Dr Love which is the only Onam release which will break even from theatrical collections. In the fourth place is Pranayam and in the last place is Salt & Pepper which recently completed 100 days.
