Box office reports
| It was the IPL semi-final and final weekend in Chennai, which ate into the collections. There were no big releases.
The number one remains Kalakalappu, which has now become a family hit. Men In Black 3 took a good opening but subsequently fell to number two.
In third position is the multiplex-hit Vazhakku Enn 18/9 and in fourth place is the rock steady OKOK.
At number five is The Avengers, which still continues to attract the summer holiday audiences.
