Box office reports
It was virtually a six day weekend (Aug 15 to 20) at the Chennai box-office due to Independence Day (Aug 15) and Ramzan (Aug 20) public holidays.

Salman Khan and his Ek Tha Tiger have swept the Chennai box-office and is the clear number one by a mile. ETT wave was there at CBO.

There were six Tamil releases for the holiday weekend. At number one is Studio Green marketed Attakathi, which is the big Tamil winner and declared a hit due to aggressive marketing and decent content.

In the third place is Naan which carries good reports but at the box-office it is lukewarm. At number four is Naan Ee the family favourite which is rock steady at the box-office and in the fifth place is Ice Age 4.
