Bengaluru BO (August 31 to September 2)

Wednesday, 5 September, 2012, 03:16

The only Kannada film that was released this week is Naavika. The film opened to such a dull response that a few theatres in the interiors were looking for an alternative two days after the release. Telugu film Srimannarayana starring Balakrishna started off well on day one, but collections dropped badly from day 2 onwards. Surprisingly Akshay Kumar`s film Joker did not get a positive opening. Tamil film Mugamoodi kicked off well on Friday, but collections dropped from the first day`s evening shows. Adhdhuri is running in its 12th week in various centres of the state, while Shiva collections are dropping in the second week after a good opening.
