Bengaluru Box Office (Sept 28 to 30)
Thursday, 4 October, 2012, 06:50
The ongoing agitation in many parts of Karnataka has affected the box office collections of many films which were running well. The rains and the live telecast of T20 world cup cricket matches have been another dampener. The Cauvery agitation has affected the screening of Tamil films in the single screens which have stopped screening even newly released films like Thandavam. The Telugu film Rebel has been receiving lukewarm response. Upendra starrer Kalpana which is a remake of Tamil hit Kanchana has obtained very good report from the audience who have watched the film. The film is a thoroughly enjoyable entertainer and is sure to please the audience of B and C centres. Another Kannada film Siddaganga which is released in a single theatre is getting good reviews, but the response is ordinary.
