Bengaluru Box office (October 5-7)

Tuesday, 9 October, 2012, 02:44

Last week saw the release of two Kannada films out of which only Snehitharu, which had Challenging Star Darshan in a special role, took a decent opening. The Karnataka Bundh on Saturday affected all the Kannada films, but somehow Snehitharu was well received on Sunday and Monday. However, Ondhu Kshanadhalli was a wash out from day one. Upendra starrer Kalpana continues to do good business all over the state. The collections in B and C centres have been impressive for the film. The ongoing Cauvery agitation has blocked the release of Tamil films, but Telugu film Rebel received a lukewarm response. Sridevi`s comeback film English Vinglish is much appreciated and running well.
