Chennai Diwali Box-Office (Nov. 13 to 18)

Tuesday, 20 November, 2012, 03:52

No other film has touched even one fourth of Thuppakki`s Diwali opening. At number two is Podaa Podi, which is above average and is being liked by the multiplex audiences. In the third place is Shah Rukh Khan’s Jab Tak Hain Jaan the other big Diwali release which is just average. And in the fourth place is the steady super hit Pizza, which is still getting good audiences during the Diwali weekend. It has already taken a share of Rs 1.36 Crore from Chennai city, which is very good considering the film was made for Rs 1.55 Cr!And in the fifth place is Thangar Bachchan’s Ammavin Kaipesi, which would have done better if it was not released for Diwali.
