Chennai Box-Office - Sep 4 to 6

It was another good week at the box-office. Jayam Ravi’s Mohan Raja directed Thani Oruvan is turning out to be a super duper hit. The film retained all screens with which it opened and in the second weekend is still the number one at CBO.Thani Oruvan is the clear number one at the box-office, as family audiences and youth seem to love it. In 10 days the film has done extraordinary business in Chennai city, grossing Rs 3.22 Cr phenomenal by any yardstick !At number two is Vishal’s Suseenthiran directed Paayum Puli, which took a below average opening. In the third place is the Hindi film Welcome Back which is rocking the multiplexes.At number four is Transporter Refuelled, which also had a Tamil dubbed version. The film took only an average opening. In the fifth place is the Telugu film Bhale Bhale Magadivoi, which had a very limited release but all shows going full.
