Chennai Box-Office (May13-15)

The summer box-office was at its peak, in the second week of May. Since it was election time, there was no other form of entertainment.

Suriya's 24 remained in the number one slot, second week running. The film has grossed approximately around Rs 3.80 Crore in 10 days and is at number one slot.

At number two is Ko 2, which has taken a decent opening around Rs 30 lakhs in smaller screens. GV Prakash's Pencil too has opened in limited screens and has grossed around Rs 28 lakhs and is in the third position.

Captain America Civil War is at number four and is holding good. In the fifth place is the surprise summer hit Udhayanidhi Stalin's Manithan, which has grossed around Rs 2.40 Cr from the city in 17 days.
