Chennai Box-Office – May 20 to 22

Thursday, 1 January, 1970, 05:30

A day after the election results, the summer CBO is looking up. The family audience thronged the theatres. The number one film at the CBO is Vishal's Marudhu, which has taken a good opening.

Super hero films especially during the summer continue to take a good opening in Chennai. The latest, X Men : Apocalypse is at number two position, with an impressive opening.

Mahesh Babu’s Brahmotsavam is in the third place. The film carried mixed reports and took a fall on Saturday, as it could neither please Mahesh’s strong youth or family audiences.

In the fourth place is 24, which is turning out to be only an average grosser. Captain America : Civil War continues to rock the CBO and is at number five.
