Chennai Diwali Box-Office (November 6-11)

Monday, 12 November, 2018, 02:07

The big Diwali holidays and weekend was dominated by Thalapathy Vijay’s Sarkar. The film became his biggest opener in Chennai city and crossed Rs 10 Cr easily in 6 days. Sarkar is reported to have grossed around Rs 10.77 Cr in 6 days from Chennai City.

Since Sarkar played in almost 70 % of the screens in Chennai city, the rest of the films were just academic. Aamir Khan’s Thugs Of Hindostan failed to take off and proved to be a disaster but holds the second place.

Vishnu Vishal’s Ratsasan continues its strangle hold over the box-office and is number three. In the fourth position is Badhaai Ho and in the last place is Vada Chennai.
