'Bramman' censored and ready for release

Sasikumar’s new film Bramman directed by Socrates, a former assistant of Kamal Haasan, has been cleared by the censors with a clean U certificate. The film has Sasikumar, Santhanam and newcomer Lavanya Tripathi in the lead, with Devi Sri Prasad providing foot-tapping music.

Bramman is produced by leading Kannada film producer and distributor K Manju along with Anto Joseph, producer and distributor from Kerala. The Bramman team met the press.

Sasikumar was all praise for Socrates and said : “  Directors are the creators they are the Brahma.  I know that because I came into industry as a director. Socrates has done a good job he has completed the film in 123 days, though he said initially he will do it in 75 days. “

Producer K Manju said: “ Initially I was upset that Socrates took a long time in shooting the film, but after I saw the first copy , I was thrilled with the final product. It looks like a well-made mass entertainer.”

Bramman is going to be distributed by Gopuram Films Madurai Anbu throughout Tamil Nadu and is scheduled to release on February 21.
