The costliest film ever made in Malayalam, Casanovva, is all set to speak Hindi now.

The rights for Bollywod have been bought by producer Ketan Shah.

The film, which has opened to thoroughly mixed reviews, has Mohanlal playing a philanderer rather more aggressive than the original Casanova.

Director Rosshan Andrrews’ ambitious venture had earned spectacular collections on the opening day thanks to really good marketing and wide release.

The Hindi version will be directed by Rosshan himself and is expected to have a top Bollywood hero in the lead.

The details will be announced later. Meanwhile, the collections of the Malayalam version have been a bit shaky after the first day but the film is expected to do good business during the weekend.

There have been all kinds of reports, controversies, discussions and reviews of Casanovva but the focus has been mainly on its high budget.

The obvious question on everyone’s mind is whether the film will be able to recover the huge investment even if it has a good run during the coming days.

There are discussions going on in the various websites and the media on the way women have been treated in the film.

Well, all these could keep the film in the headlines and add to its box office revenue in the days to come.
