Censor may murder Mallika's `Kismat`

When it comes to a Mallika Sherawat, the Censor board is extra cautious. That they had passed her smooches in Khwahish and scenes in Murder has only soared Mallika's spirits to get more and more hotter by the day and plummeted the censors to work overtime to ensure that they aren't liberal enough this time to create controversies later.

The latest Mallika film at the Censor scissor is Kis Kis Ki Kismat directed by Govind Menon (who also directed Khwahish). Mallika's sizzling stills from the film in red and black skimpy outfits are making rounds for quite some time now and one such still has caught the Censor eye. In that still, Mallika is clad in a short red frilly dress that flies in the air to give the Marilyn Monroe's Seven Year Itch pose.

The Censors have objected to sight of Mallika's underwear in the scene and has refused to allow the scene in television promos. However the buzz is that the scene is definitely a part of the film. The board is giving the film an 'A' certificate and has appointed a three-member committee to further look into the matter.

Mallika however doesn't seem to be happy with the Censor's move and grumbles that the Censors should also ban lawn tennis and beach volleyball on TV where girls are dressed in short skirts.

Recently the wind also flew over Dia Mirza's white gown in Tumsa Nahin Dekha (again in the mandatory Marilyn Monroe pose), which thankfully was restricted in displaying only her long legs. Indiafm.com
