AAA is all set for Diwali release

Remember the All in All Azhaguraja’s first look trailer ? It showed Santhanam and Karthi making fun of anti-tobacco campaign video, which is shown before the start of a feature film.

In AAA trailer Santhanam and Karthi pokes fun at Mukesh, the character who died due to excessive tobacco intake. Santhanam in fact imitates his guttural voice, which made the trailer popular, but made the Tamil Nadu People's Forum for Tobacco Control (TNPFTC) see red.

TNPFTC raised an issue over the teaser and they wanted that scene removed from the film before it was shown to the public. The censors asked Rajesh to remove the scene at the time it came up for censor.

Rajesh recently made a statement saying that his future films will not feature any smoking scenes. Says Rajesh : "Yes, the censor board asked us to remove the scene, and so, we have removed it. The film has many entertaining elements, and we do not want to carry a scene if it offends someone by chance. The censors have given us a U certificate.”
