Box office reports

Jayam Ravi has once again proved that he has the all-important 'opening' to become a big star. His Dhaam Dhoom has taken an extraordinary 92 per cent opening from nine Chennai screens and is the clear number one at the CBO by a mile.

At number two is Jayam Kondan, which carries good reports but collections are average. In the third position is Farhan Akthar's launch film as hero, Rock On!!, due to strong opening in four screens.

At number four is Subramaniapuram and in the fifth position is Dasavatharam.
