The remake of the Malayalam hit film Traffic has been going on for the past few weeks at a brisk pace in the city. The film, which is tilted Chennaiyil Oru Naal, boasts of an impressive multi star cast by the co producers Radhika Sarathkumar and her I Pictures along with Listin Stephen of Magic Frames, from Kerala.
The unit had a media meet at a star hotel last night at which the trailer of the film was released by Sarath Kumar, one of the lead actors in the film.
Also present were Prakash Raj who had flown in from Mumabai, Prasanna and actors JP and Lakshmi. Radhika Sarathkumar introduced the star cast which included the three heroines, Poo fame Parvathy, Mallika who was last seen in Autograph and Aishwarya Devan and other heroes Sachin and Mithun.
Cheran is playing an important role of a driver while Sarath Kumar plays a cop. The film is directed by Shaheed Kadhir.
The film revolves around the lives of a few characters as their lives go topsy turvy during one incident that happens in one day of their lives. Prakash Raj who is teamed up with Radhika in the film spoke about how it helped an artist to give his best and push himself when teamed up with another talented actor like Radhika.
The film revolves around the traffic situation in Chennai and how an accident brings people of different walks of life together. Sarath plays a cop and spoke highly about the issues which the film has touched upon.
