National award winning child actor Gaurav Menon broke down during a press conference in Kochi when he said that he wasn’t given the payment for acting in the film Kolumittayi.
Gaurav stole many hearts as ‘Jugru’ in Philips and the Monkey Pen.
He has won the State award and it was his performance in Ben that fetched him the National award.
The makers of Kolumitayi had made the contract with him in a Rs.50 worth stamp paper. But they never paid him the promised amount.
“I haven’t committed any other films and will accept only films where I am not cheated like this,” said the actor.
